A photo every day for a year? Seriously?

Yep. Here you will find my 2013 Project 365: a collection of photos taken during 2013, one each day.

Why would someone publish a photo every day? Well, why not? We carry a camera with us all the time and the world is full of interesting things. It shouldn't be too hard to find one thing each day that seems worthy of capturing in photographic form. It may force me to look at the world around me a little more carefully, or to make myself think a little more creatively, or to discover a new photographic technique or two... not bad byproducts, right?

This is actually the third time I've had a go at doing this. In 2011 I managed to take all 365 photos and didn't miss a single one. In 2012 I tried again, but to be honest I lost interest in about April. No sweat, this is meant to be fun, and when it stops being fun, it's ok to stop doing it.

But I'm going to give it another go in 2013. I have a good feeling about it this year. Maybe 2013 will be my lucky number.

Most of these photos will be taken on whatever camera I happen to have with me at the time. In all likelihood that will be my Galaxy Nexus, but sometimes I may use my Nikon D80.

These images also crosspost automatically to Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and Blogger. You know, just in case. ;-)
